This season’s must-see trends from Paris.

The Colors: Greenery & Warm Sand

Pantone’s color of the year made vibrant appearances in head-to-toe ensembles and in flashes of bright green accessories and accent pieces. The vivid shade was balanced by Warm Sand, one of the color authority’s choices for Spring 2018. The all-natural neutral shade is already making impressions, sweeping along the boulevards in trench coats, professional wear, and more.

The Cap: Berets

Berets in Paris? Not exactly ground breaking, but the look is as classic and chic as ever. This season saw an absolute explosion of the charming accessory.

The Label: Dior

This one is a no-brainer thanks to Maria Grazia Chiuri. The marque’s new creative director isn’t afraid to indulge in a little logomania. Her sheer dresses featuring straps bearing the house name are causing quite the frenzy.

The Shoe: Black Cap Toes

It should come as no surprise that Karl Lagerfeld is mainly responsible for the hottest footwear fad in Paris right now. Tipped with black, the cap toe shoes he produced for Chanel are all over the City of Light. Other labels are represented as well, but Chanel, as usual, leads the way. — jas
